RENDEZVOUS 2024 - Thursday, August 22th to Sunday, August 25, 2024

Our 2024 Rendezvous is being held at Port Browning Marina, North Pender Is.

Port Browning Marina has reserved 300 ft. of onside moorage space for Canoe Cove Rendezvous until April 30th. After April 30th Port Browning will release any unreserved space of the 300 ft. to the general public. Your Canoe Cove Committee asks that you make your reservations by March 1st, 2024 and advise us so that we can send out a reminder to our members if we still have unreserved space.

Members must make their own individual reservations by using Port Browning's website Port Browning website and fill out their reservation request form. Make sure in the form notes that as Canoe Cove members you tell Port Browning that you are reserving as part of the Canoe Cove Rendezvous group. Port Browning will send you a reservation confirmation. At this time you will have to secure your reservation by calling them at 250 629-3493 and leaving a credit card number. PORT BROWNING ADVISES THAT - NO CHARGE WILL BE PLACED ON THE CARD AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, BUT WILL BE ON THE DAY OF CHECK IN – IF - YOU DO NOT CHECK IN WITH A DIFFERENT FORM OF PAYMENT. At the same time you make your reservation to Port Browning Marina, send an email to Barb Thornton Send Email telling her what days you will be attending the rendezvous and how many people in your party will be attending the catered dinner on Saturday night.

Port Browning Marina wants you to know that they have newly expanded docks that are equipped with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) breakers which is the new law in marine electrical. What this means, is that any boat that has even a minor ground leak in their wiring or power cord will not be able to draw power. So please be aware of this as it has caused some issues in the past and we cannot always rectify it.
