Visit Predict Wind This website gives you wind forecasts for any part of the world. Once you sign up — it's free — and set the area you want (Georgia Strait, for example) you can get 1 day forecasts. For an annual fee of $29 USD you can get a 5 day forecast. It may be a useful too.

Spotwx is another good source of information on weather anywhere in the world. Visit Spotwx Weather

Transport Canada Vessel Registration Query System This website lists all Registered boats. You can look them up by name or registration number.

Marine Traffic website allows you to track any vessel that is broadcasting an AIS signal anywhere in the world. In practical terms you can use it to track any boat on the BC Coast and Washington.
